My mother is now enjoying her new, modern bathroom suite, which includes a walk-in shower with a shower seat… The service provided by the team was excellent.

I am delighted with my shower and the efficient way it was installed. The engineer was amiable, helpful and hard-working.
No bottom runner to trip over.
Our attractive, comfortable seats are available in contemporary styles (wooden or padded) with or without armrests.
The smooth sliding door offers you finger-tip control.
What kind of door does the Refresh shower have?
The Refresh has a full width easy-glide door that slides rather than swings. The action is smooth enough to move with fingertip pressure, so it does not need a firm grip or a hard pull. Sliding also means the door needs no clearance in front of the shower.
Is there a bottom runner to trip over on the Refresh?
No. The door runs without a bottom runner, so the floor of the opening stays clear. That removes the raised track people commonly catch a foot or a walking stick on, and it makes the tray easier to wipe down afterwards.
What sizes does the Refresh come in?
The Refresh is made in a wide choice of sizes, so it can fit flexibly into different bathroom layouts. Exact sizes depend on what your room allows. Your surveyor measures the space at the free home visit and tells you which options will work.
What seat choices are there on the Refresh?
You can have a folding seat in a wooden or a padded style, with or without armrests. Armrests are worth thinking about if you need something to push up from when standing. The seat folds away flat when it is not being used.
Can someone with weak hands open the Refresh door?
That is what the easy-glide action is for. The door moves with fingertip control rather than needing a firm pull, which helps anyone with arthritis or reduced grip strength. Ask your surveyor to demonstrate the action so you can judge it for yourself.
Does the Refresh have a grab rail?
Yes, a grab bar is included for extra security when you are moving in and out or getting up from the seat. Additional rails can be discussed at survey if you want more support at a particular spot in the shower.
How is the water temperature controlled in the Refresh?
Through thermostatic safety controls, which hold the water at your chosen temperature rather than letting it swing when someone runs a tap elsewhere in the house. This matters if you have reduced sensation and might not notice the water getting too hot.
