The bath itself was installed with a minimum of fuss… Not only did he do a splendid job of installing the bath he also cleaned up so well afterwards.

Easy-access front opening door and comfortable contoured seat
With our low-threshold doors, stepping in and out of the bath is safe and easy.
Is the Cove smaller than a standard bath?
Yes. The Cove is one of the compact models, around 1200mm long, so it is shorter and deeper than a conventional bath. You sit upright in it rather than lying down, and it is designed to fit into a standard bath space.
Which way does the Cove door open?
The Cove has a front outward-opening door with a low-level access step. Opening outwards gives a wide, clear walk-through, which helps if you use a stick or a frame. You do need clear floor space in front for the door to swing into.
Do you sit upright in the Cove?
Yes. The Cove has an integral upright seat with a contoured moulded backrest and armrests, so you are supported while you bathe. Sitting upright also means the water sits deeper around you than it would lying flat in a conventional bath.
What is dual waste and why does it matter?
Dual waste means two outlets rather than one, so the bath drains faster. That matters in a walk-in bath because you have to wait for the water to go before the door can be opened, and nobody wants to sit in cooling water.
How does the Cove stop the water being too hot?
The Cove has thermostatically controlled mixer taps. They hold the water at the temperature you set rather than letting it drift, which removes the scalding risk if the cold supply drops while someone runs a tap elsewhere in the house.
Is there a backrest in the Cove?
Yes, a contoured moulded backrest is part of the bath, along with armrests and the integral seat. The shaping is designed to support you in one comfortable position rather than leaving you to prop yourself up with a cushion.
Can I add a spa massage to the Cove?
Yes, the hydrovescent spa massage is available as an option on the Cove. It is worth deciding at the order stage, as spa systems are built into the bath rather than added afterwards. Mention it at your free design appointment.
