What is the difference between the Assure and the Assure Premier?
The Assure Premier includes the hydrovescent spa as part of the bath rather than as an option, and its door is a side-opening outward door instead of the inward door on the standard Assure. Both are compact models for standard bath spaces.
Is the spa included with the Assure Premier?
Yes. The hydrovescent spa comes with the Assure Premier rather than being an added extra. That is the main reason people choose it over the standard Assure, so factor it in when you compare the two quotes side by side.
Which way does the Assure Premier door open?
It has a side-opening, outward-opening easy-access door. Opening outward gives a wide clear entry with nothing to climb over, but it does need floor space in front of the bath to swing into. The surveyor checks that at the free home visit.
How deep is the Assure Premier?
It is twice as deep as a traditional bath despite being half the size. No measurement is published, so treat that as a general description rather than a figure. Ask for the actual internal depth at your survey if it matters.
Is the Assure Premier seat slippery?
No, the seat is contoured and slip-resistant, and shaped to hold you in an upright position with full support while seated. The bath also has an ultra-low threshold, so there is very little to step over on the way in.
Does the Assure Premier suit a small bathroom?
It is one of the compact models and is described as ideal for smaller bathrooms, fitting standard bath areas. The one thing to check is the outward opening door, which needs clear floor space in front of it to swing into.
How fast does the Assure Premier empty?
It uses a dual waste system, so there are two outlets draining at once rather than one. That shortens the wait before the door can be opened. Actual timing depends on your drainage, so ask the surveyor what to expect in your home.
